Parent Meeting

Greg and I went to our first parent meeting at Head Start last night. They were nominating people for the parent committee. Greg asked me if I was going to volunteer. I said no. It is too much with working full time and volunteering for three different ministries at church. I will help with things as I can.

After the meeting one of the coordinators came up to tell us that Ethan really enjoys his bus ride to speech therapy. I imaged that he did. He always gets excited when he sees a school bus. I think Hannah is a little jealous that she doesn't get to ride the bus.

When I picked them up the other day Hannah told me about her new friend Zy Quis. She said that he plays with her and dances with her. Poor thing said that the girls will not play with her. She wants to fit in. I know that it will just be a matter of time before she has several friends.

Ethan has an appointment with an ENT next Thursday so check for fluid on his ears. When he went for his hearing test they said it looks like he might have some on them. I know that he will not enjoy it. He does not like for anyone to mess with his ears.

You know, girls can be tough...when I was younger I had mostly boy friends too - they aren't as high maintainance! Hannah will be just fine.

Let us know how Ethan's appointment goes...glad he's enjoying the bus. (lily says she wants to ride the bus too. it's a big deal for the kiddos, I s'pose!)

Hope Ethan's ears check out okay. Hannah will make friends with all the kids before long! Funny that Ethan loves to bus ride! All boy!
