Stomach problems

Well, this afternoon Hannah has developed diarrhea. It was so bad that it was coming out of her pull up. So for it is so graphic. She was crying really hard. I had to put her in the tub to wash her off. She was fine after getting cleaned off. Her appetite was not hampered. She was announcing that she was hungry after I came in from the trash. At this moment she is at Wal-Mart with her Daddy. He was trying to sneak out of the house without her but she would have none of that. Wal-Mart is one of her favorite places to go. She gets very excited when we say that we are going there.

Saturday Greg and Hannah took one of the cars to have a fluid line fixed. While they were out they went to Best Buy. Greg surprised me with a new vacuum cleaner. It is a nice Bissel. Since we have been married we have always had cheap vacuums. It is nice to have this new one. We had gotten new carpet a few months ago and our old vacuum was not doing a good job at cleaning it. Thankfully those days are over.

Favorite Photo Friday (1 day late)

This is a picture of Hannah helping fold the towels the other day. She is always wanting to help me fold the laundry, so I thought I would teach her how to fold the towels. She was having fun. After I usually finish folding the other clothes she will help up her clothes up. She even knows which drawers they go in. I hope that as she gets older that she still enjoys helping out.

Sick Baby

Wednesday morning Hannah woke us up vomitting. My poor baby kept saying that her tummy hurt. I stayed home with her. She would keep asking me to rub her tummy for her. She was so cute. By the late afternoon she was feeling better. She was jumping up and down. This morning I awoke not feeling too well. I have stayed home from work another day. I did not think that the girl that I'm training would want to sit beside me. Thankfully I am feeling better. Back to work tomorrow.

The weather here has been really great. It is in the 60's. I know that Hannah's daycare is happy for this so they can take the children outside.

Not much new.

There isn't too much that is new on this front. Today we took cupcakes and red envelopes to Hannah's daycare. I think the children that were there enjoyed it. I even had some cupcakes to bring home with me. That wasn't really good considering that I had 4 boxes of Girl Scout cookies delivered yesterday.

Oh, Becky and Chloe, Hannah really likes her book that you sent her. She had to read it to me when we opened it.

Hey it is suppose to get up into the 60's this week down here. I am sooooooo ready for Spring to get here. (sorry Becky) Summer is even better.

Happy New Year (Xin Nian Kuai Le)

Happy New Year everyone. Here are some pictures of the celebration we went to last night. We had fun. Hannah really liked watching the lion dance, dragon dance, the little girls and ladies dancing. I think she was also amazed at seeing so many Chinese people also.

We ran into another adoption family that we know (the Kohanskis see my links). It was good to see them since they had just gotten back from China not too long ago with their second daughter from there.

This was the first snow day that we were actually able to get outside and play with Hannah. She wasn't too sure about playing with it at first. Eventually she ended up liking it and not wanting to go back in. Ok I know that it isn't much snow but we were able to make a very small snowman. Hannah enjoyed that. I will try to post a video later. I am not able to get one uploaded yet.

Promotion

My manager called me into her office yesterday afternoon. As I have told you all our office is hiring 180 new employees due to a migration of another office into ours. My department is hiring 13 or 14 new people. It this time we only have one team lead. They have been trying to inverview people for another lead position but have not had any luck. Yesterday my lead asked me to consider taking the position. She got with our director to find out how much of a rate increase it would be. it will be a considerable rate increase. I have until Friday to tell her if I'm taking the job. I have decide that I will take the job. This will be a great help to us after Ethan gets here. It should help with the extra child care cost.

China 2005

We were all looking at our pictures last night. Hannah enjoyed seeing herself as a little baby. I really enjoyed sharing the pictures with her. I know that I will continue to enjoying sharing them in the future. It made me miss China while we were looking at them.

HOME, JAMES!

Ok, we got Hannah a new pair of shades this weekend. We thought we would replace the big mac daddy shades that she has been sporting around. While we were at her Wal-Mart we found these Dora shades. She loves them. It is cute that her nose bridge isn't big enough to really hold them up.
Also for Valentine's Day Greg bought me a new cell phone. The battery on my old one ran down so now Hannah has a new cell phone. This is a picture of her with her new shades and her new phone on our way home the other day. She is something else. She walks around the house now talking to her Nai Nai on the phone. It is so cute.

Super Star

Here are some pictures of my little super star. The top is of her walking in my shoes. The bottom is her with glasses that my Dad gave her. They are the 3D glasses that he got at a movie. She loves these things. She will put them on and state that she cannot see. Oh, don't you love the belly shot.

Long day

Today was a long day for me. We are still in the middle of training new hires at work. I am now the only mentor in our department at the moment so I am the one that they all sit with. Today we had 2 new ladies start. They both seem really nice. So, I have been resisting a cold or something so my throat is not happy at all with me having to talk all day. I don't like having to sit so close when I'm not feeling well. I will be happy when Spring is here.

Go Colts!!!!!

Just have to say way to go Colts! I'm not a huge American Football fan. I do like to watch college football games if University of TN is playing. So, since Peyton played at UT I was pulling for him to win the game. We were very excited that he won.

Ladies, thank you for offering to send us some snow this way but I really only need a light know from time to time. I HATE cold weather. I don't mind the snow if I can stay in the house and look out from the window. I don't mind driving in it (unlike most people in the south.) My Dad taught all 4 of his girls how to drive in it. The thing that I hate is having to share the road with the people that freak out over a lite dusting of snow. Mind you most of the all we get here in Nashville is ice so it is harder to drive on it but people still seem to over react to it.

We got some more snow this morning. I got up around 8:00 and looked out to see fresh snow. By the time we left for church at 10:15 it was already starting to melt.

Oh Stefanie, I used Photobucket for my video. I found that if I click on the red X it takes me to the video. I copied the URL link but it didn't work right.

Our first snow day.

This is the picture that I took this morning of our first real snow (for TN) this winter. Unfortunately, by the time I got home with Hannah that afternoon most of it was gone so we could not play in it. I know that my friends up north are probably thinking what know.

Ring around the rosey

Here we go again trying the video.

Dossier

I took today off so I could go down town to get our paperwork certifications and authentications. I had two of my childhood friends go with me, Lisa and Bonnie. They are twin sisters. After I got all of those done we went to our BCS office. When I got there I found out that there were two not forms that we were suppose to have signed and notarized that were not on the old packet check list. Thankfully since I will be going without Greg to China I had the power of attorney with me so I was able to sign for both of us. After I got home our SW called to tell me that as she was making the copies she was looking over our homestudy. She found that page 2 was missing. I was very happy to know that we had another copy here at the house. I got it out and it did have all the pages with it. Greg will be going back downtown on Monday to get this document taken care of. I think that having only 1 mistake out of 15 documents is great. Although, I didn't have any with Hannah's. Oh well at least we didn't have it sent to GR or China and then have the whole dossier rejected at that time for that 1 mistakes.

We sent our paperwork to our doctor on Wednesday for the COP children that we are interested in. She got back with us on that afternoon. We will being sending our stuff to our SW tomorrow for this.
