Books

Books, I love books. Reading is one of my most favorite activities. I usually get at least one book for Christmas from Greg every year. One year I got so many books that I'm still trying to get them all read. I have list of some of my favorite books. I have also listed the book that I'm currently reading. I will try to keep that updated. I like to read all kinds of books. I have come to love history books and especially those that about WWII. My Grandfather was in the navy during the war. He pasted away before I could really talk to him about it. I think that it is an interesting subject.

Now that we have adopted from China I am interested in Chinese history. Any chance I get to read about China I will take. I especially like reading from one person's personal perspective. I hope that you all might read some of the books that I have listed and will enjoy them as much as I do.

Getting started

I have decided to get on the blog wagon. I thought it would be nice to try it out so I can share about our journey to getting Ethan. I am hoping to post pictures also as we get them.

I thought I could catch you up on Hannah. As I'm typing she is chattering away. She will be 2 1/2 at the end of December. She loves to talk all the time. She is a very silly girl. She is very excited about Ethan. Every now and then she will just start singing a song about her and Ethan. She will even say that Ethan is her baby. I hope she will stay this excited after he gets here.

This Friday we will have our home visit with our social worker for our home study. After she has finished typing it up we will go for our fingerprints done and then wait for Homeland Security to send us a form. I hope that it doesn't take too long to get the form from them.
