Handling the Wait

Ok, so we get our LOA Tuesday when we get home from work. We opened it and signed our letter. Greg went that night to over night it to Grand Rapids. He got to the store at 6:20 and they closed at 6:30. The UPS man waited for him to finish. I am now working on the visa applications so I can get those shipped off.

It is hard to believe that we could be traveling in as little as 8 weeks. I have been stressing, crying, and happy. I had forgotten how much of an emotional roller coaster this is.

Since Verna is doing a fundraiser for us we have had people asking about how much we need to raise. Verna suggested posting it. I have placed a ticker on the side bar to keep every one updated as we go.

Hannah's New Friend

Our neighbors have several barn cats. One of them has taken to come by the house every day to see Hannah. We do not know his name but Hannah has started calling him Kitty Nuggets. Where she got that I do not know. Here are some pictures of her carrying him over to the swing. She also likes to kiss him while she is carrying him. It is very sweet. One night after Hannah came back in the house I looked out and saw him sitting outside looking in after her and crying for her. I wish I would have gotten that on video.

LOA is Coming

We received an email today from our SW. Our LOA should be here tomorrow. It is coming via UPS. The time from LOA to TA is usually about 1 month. It looks like we might be able to have Ethan home for Christmas. That will be the best present ever (outside of Jesus Christ) for me. I will not need anymore presents this year.

We received a check in the mail today. Thank you Stef. It will help us out a lot. It is wonderful to have such generous friends. Ethan is definitely loved. We thank everyone that is helping us out.
